F.A.Q

New York has a “Direct Access” Physical Therapy law in place. It allows licensed physical therapists to provide direct physical therapy evaluation and treatment services for up to 30 consecutive days without obtaining a referral/prescription from a physician or other healthcare provider. If treatment is necessary beyond the initial 30 day period, the physical therapist will communicate with your physician to obtain authorization to continue treatment as needed.

If you have not seen a physical and are not sure you should see, I can help you find one.
